Our Mission

The BYU Research & Writing Center provides a supportive and resource-rich environment where trained consultants collaborate with students to increase awareness, abilities, and confidence in any part of the research and writing process.

Our Partnership

The University Writing Center has been supporting student writers at BYU since the 1970s. In 2013, the University Writing Center partnered with Library Instruction to develop the Research and Writing Center (RWC) as a joint service offering individualized support through every stage of the research and writing process. Since 2018, the RWC has been located in 3340 HBLL.
